തീപിടിത്തതിൽ ആളപായമില്ല. 6 നില കെട്ടിടത്തിലെ നാലാം നിലയിലുള്ള ഇഡി ഓഫിസിലാണ് തീപിടുത്തം ഉണ്ടായത്. ചെറുതായി തീപിടിച്ച് പിന്നീടത് ഫർണിച്ചറുക‍ളിലേക്ക് തീ വ്യാപിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഏറെ പണിപെട്ടാണ് തീയണച്ചത്.
തീപിടിത്തതിനെ കാരണം വ്യക്തമല്ല. ഫയർഫോഴ്സ് വിദഗ്ധ സംഘം അന്വേഷണം നടത്തി വരികയാണെന്ന് അഗ്നിശമന സേനാ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ അറിയിച്ചു.
